For me, there's nothing I like more than a beautiful offering of timeless neutral furniture and decor and this week's New In seems to be full of pieces I can't wait to get my hands on.
It all started with the arrival of Elisa Atheniense's fantastic braided leather designs which were featured in Think Big, Shop Small this week. A small but mighty brand, Elisa Atheniense are giving me real Bottega Veneta vibes. The craftsmanship which goes into something like the Paraty Geometrico Basket is remarkable. I've watched the brand's artisans working and there's no machine that can replace the care and passion of those people. The same goes for Objet Luxe's handblown Grey Glacier Bowl. Two totally different processes but equally admirable.
With it, I'd pair the new Geometric Bench by Jonathan Charles and the super-slick Rosalie chest by Baker which is the perfect unisex design for couples' bedrooms. I can already tell it's going to appeal to both my male and female clients. That sycamore veneer has just such a lovely grain and I love that it has two drawers without feeling boxy.

And, because of LuxDeco's focus this month, in particular, on shopping small and local as much as possible, my eye kept coming back to the new additions from Mourne Textiles whose 100% wool cushions and throws are woven in Northern Ireland by the third-generation family brand. The throws are perfect coming into summer for al fresco drinks of an evening, but the cushion would be great with a linen club chair too, especially with the hazy Anik Painting in the background which is in my shopping bag.
I suppose I have to spend my languishing holiday fund on something!
