Over time, the colour of your carpet may fade if left in direct sunlight. We suggest to turn the rug from time to time.
Luxurious to the touch yet strong and durable, PET yarn is easy to clean, it is also water, UV, stain and moth resistant. This also means that The Shore Collection is suitable for occasional outdoor use.

Care Instructions

Cleaning handmade carpets should normally be left to a professional, however there are times when a quick response is needed. For every day stains, mop up the area using a white paper towel or tissue and a soft soap in warm water, do not scrub. We recommend that vacuuming is carried out with a cylinder vacuum cleaner without a beater bar. The brushes should be raised away from the surface of the pile and suction reduced to the minimum amount needed to remove the dust and dirt build up. If you see a loose thread coming through, do not pull it. Use a sharp pair of scissors to cut it at the level of the pile. New carpets tend to shed in the first few months, this is to be expected and does not mean that there is a defect. The amount of fibre lost represents a very small fraction of the whole carpet.
