The aptly named Granada rug is inspired by the stunning Moorish architecture and motifs of Spain’s southern-most region. Boasting an incredible 86,000 knots per square metre, the creation is the result of expert hands and exquisite materials.
Like all of Illulian’s stunning creations, the hand-knotted rug’s unsurpassable Himalayan wool is carded and hand-spun by nomadic Tibetan shepherds on traditional wooden looms. The wool is then fused with pure silk resulting in a design which is absolute underfoot heaven.
The rug’s lattice patterning lends well to a two-tone colour palette. The timeless beige and cream duo is a refreshing focal point for a traditional seating arrangement and brilliantly versatile.
