Exuding Mediterranean aromas of lavender, fig and wooded slopes, Cire Trudon's luxury Cyrnos candle captures the sights and scents of the Belle Époque, Riviera-style.
A CÔTE D'AZUR MELTING POT
Commissioned by the ageing former French Empress Eugénie in 1894, the Villa Cyrnos, situated on the Côte d'Azur, became a melting pot for the early-20th century's high, literary and artistic society. The air was filled with the scent of lavender, of fig trees and the dry aromas of Provence - fragrances that contribute the heart notes of this luxury candle from Cire Trudon.
Created using the finest quality wax that neither smokes nor leaves residue on its container, the candle's vibrant Mediterranean flavour is accorded by head notes of lemon, myrtle and thyme. Cashmere wood, musk and patchouli form its long-lasting foundations.
Preserving the skills of its 17th-century founder, Claude Trudon, Cire Trudon hand-crafts each coveted candle in Normandy, while the unique glasses - inspired by champagne buckets and stamped with the brand's signature gold plaque - are artisanally made in Italy's Tuscany region.
