An aromatic accord of French and Itallian allegories, this luxury hand-crafted candle - created in collaboration with couturier Giambattista Valli - marries lush roses with Tuscan black pepper.
An Italian in Paris, haute couturier Giambattista Valli joined forces with luxury, heritage candle brand, Cire Trudon, to create this signature scent celebrating the opening of his first boutique in 2010. An aromatic accord of French and Italian allegories, the candle's fragrance marries lush roses (Marie Antoinette's favourite bloom) with Tuscan black pepper.
Lifting its peppery opening with tangerine and lily of the valley, the white wax candle travels through an amber and rose heart, arriving at a musky, sandalwood base. The creation is housed within an exceptional white glass vessel, complete with Cire Trudon's distinctive plaque, and enjoys a 55 to 60 hour burn time.
Preserving the skills of its 17th-century founder, Cire Trudon hand-drips each coveted candle in Normandy, while the unique glasses are artisanally made in Italy's Tuscany region. A sensational gift, the Rose Poivrée is perfected with its very own presentation box.
