Green and woodsy aromas meet smoky incense undertones in this hand-crafted, scented candle inspired by the incredible parquetry of Versailles.
A VISION OF VERSAILLES
Established in 1643, Cire Trudon can count the former French royal court amongst its many admirers. Summoning the scents of the royal residence, the Château de Versailles, this regal candle is inspired by the elaborate parquetry of the Palace's famed Hall of Mirrors and its mastermind, Louis XIV - -the Sun King'.
SMOKE AND MIRRORS
With a burn time of 55 to 60 hours, the candle's luxurious fragrance opens with fresh head notes of eucalyptus, leafy greens and orange, leading to a heart of fir's bark. Smoky base notes are comprised of cedarwood and incense.
Preserving the skills of its 17th-century founder, Cire Trudon hand-drips each coveted candle in Normandy, while the unique green glasses - inspired by champagne buckets and stamped with Trudon's signature gold plaque - are artisanally made in Italy's Tuscany region.
