Talk about decking the halls – the Atlanta Homes & Lifestyle “Home For The Holidays” Designer Showhouse & Marketplace is all wrapped up for another year now and the decorations that made up its festive facade were the ultimate #christmasdecorgoals.
Renovated and expanded by Charles Heydt (of Pak Heydt & Associates Architects LLC) and David Childers (of The Macallan Group LLC), a 6,000-square-foot, four-bedroom Federal-style mansion was chosen as the site for the charity initiative, which benefits the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta organisation.
The venue was transformed by Boxwood Gardens & Gifts into a dreamy Christmas showstopper with elegant bow-tied wreaths, swagged garlands and overflowing topiary pots. Swathes of blue spruce adorned with frosted pine cones, bronzed holly and burlap ribbon were suspended from the front doorway’s bronze lantern, before cascading down and pooling on the front porch. Paned windows were decorated with individual wreaths and lintels were dressed with a coordinating arch-shaped arrangement. Even the gates were given a festive update with matching oversized wreaths.
With not an LED light display in site, it’s set the outdoor Christmas decorating standard high.
