Working amongst such lovely furniture and home decor every day does have its challenges. Namely, “What should I buy next? I want everything!” We tasked our team with choosing just four of their favourite pieces from our Black List. Here are their top sale picks and why.

Jade Bloomfield, Features Editor

I always keep my eye on AERIN’s lighting range, in part because I admire how the brand isn’t afraid to do pretty. The Lynn Flush Mount would be great in a little powder room or entrance vestibule. It reminds me of vintage Venetian chandeliers.

I’ve been searching for a beautiful desk and the Bernhardt Criteria Desk has caught my eye. I originally wanted something in the Chinoiserie style but it might persuade me to change tracks. I love its scalloped edges and the faux shagreen finish.

Oh, this would just be a perfect gift for any art lover (including me!). Assouline’s books are so expertly made and their subjects are always very considered.

I always buy bedding on sale and Matouk’s Mirasol is a lovely range which is very on-trend right now. Repeating wavy motifs are really big with designers using them everywhere from headboards to trims.

Rhiannan Evans, Interior Designer

Large statement sideboards can really anchor a dining room. The antique brass handles of this buffett add interest while the stone top against the walnut keep it sleek. It’s great for entertaining, with storage for glasses and drinks.

I have seen these placemats on many shoots and always found them to be very luxurious. The elegant texture elevates any boring table. Layering placemats on top would be a great addition to a table setting when entertaining guests.

Coming up to winter, I think everyone’s favorite thing to do is curl up on the sofa on a cold day with a lovely throw. As this throw is reversible, you’ll get twice as much use out of it. Not to mention the soft cashmere that will keep you ultra cosy.

I have seen this sculpture on many shoots and interior installations and it has always been one of my favourites. The solid glass base contrasted against the delicate textured brass adds an opulent touch within a shelving unit or on a console table.

Jonathan Holmes, CEO and Founder

Ralph Lauren is always a hit for me. Its pieces never seem to date and their focus on classic style suits mine.

Davidson London furniture is the ultimate in quality British craftsmanship and flawless product designs. This desk’s high-gloss eucalyptus finish is impeccable. I could definitely spend a Saturday working if I had this at home.

I like really well-made, uncomplicated furniture with clean lines. I imagine [Liang & Eimil’s Viva chairs] around a really slick dining table would look brilliant.

My home is an open plan space and my interior designer mother always tells me that zoning is important. Sectioning off areas with a bookshelf full of business books seems to be the best way for me to do that.

Linda Holmes, Interiors Director

Nice round rugs can be hard to come by but they’re so great for small reading nooks or entryway. I was pleased to see this Nourison rug and on the Black List too! Its palette is ideal for transitional interiors and the wool blend will make it extra luxurious.

I love coffee table books and this is a must for the perfectly dressed coffee table. Assouline’s books are always so well produced with beautiful imagery. It would make a fantastic gift for any fashionista or home lover.

Quartz lighting is a perfect creation because the light showcases the stone’s inherent beauty. Love it!

The Renmin collection is one of our newer ranges and I’m really enjoying using it in projects. I think it works really well in a lot of different environments and it can be dressed up or dressed down depending on your existing decor.

Joanne Quinn, Senior Interior Designer

We first used the Adagio collection in a project 2 years ago and I still love it. That is the ultimate test of a piece’s style durability. It’s timeless.

Made from molten bronze, the Closed Side Table adds so much depth and texture to a room. I love its part organic/part refined aesthetic. It’s also a great way to tie different metals together.

With the days getting colder and colder, all I want to do is be indoors in the warmth! I love having a chess set on hand because not only are they entertaining, they make a lovely addition to a space.

I’ve purchased the Le Soleil Wall Lamp for own home. It’s a great example of good lighting design in its ability to double up as a light as well as a piece of art. The shadows it creates are just beautiful.

Jonathon Warren, Commercial Director

My favourite item on LuxDeco, now for less. You just can't beat that incredible finish on the top and I've always had a soft spot for modern takes on Memphis Movement design.

This AERIN corkscrew makes a great gift for Christmas. I'm a secret wino so I’d be happy to gift it to lots of friends and family.

This is a book I'd spend hours poring over. A fascinating subject written by one of the world's most prominent Master of Wines and beautifully illustrated too. I told you... I'm a wino!

I think this Figure Table is a great way to subtly inject some personality into a living room. Great weighty feel from the cast iron build.
